Interested in designing your own custom quilt? We are here for you! Sarah at Ruthlessly Handmade will assemble the quilt tops, and the quilting and binding will be completed by one of the Longarming partners. Then, it will be shipped to you to enjoy!

We want to honor everyone’s preferences and price points with our work, so below are some examples and options for you to browse and think through! The bottom includes examples of different prices depending on which decisions you make for your quilt!

 

Pricing with Sarah:

*I do not have a longarm machine to finish custom quilts nicely. That is where my partners come in 😊

-Quilt Top / Backing / Binding Supplies—Paid for FIRST after exact receipt price:

·         Option 1) regular (Walmart/discount fabric with loose color scheme BABY: ~$70 THROW: ~$100 TWIN: $120 QUEEN: $150 KING: ~ $180)

·         Option 2) designer (you choose online fabrics and have more choice BABY: ~$170 THROW: ~$200 TWIN: $220 QUEEN: $250 KING: ~ $300)

-Quilt Pattern and Design—Paid for SECONDLY after labor is complete and calculated:

·         $10 an hour for all labor (Minimum $100)

 

Pricing with Longarmer:

*You will then work with and pay the Longarmer (Nicole or Kaia) to complete your quilt. They will weigh it for shipping and will not ship until you have paid.

-Edge-to-Edge Quilting:

·         $0.025 per square inch (Examples: Baby 40”x50”: $50.00, Throw 60”x75”: $112.50, Twin 70”x90”: $157.50, Full 85”x108”: $229.50, Queen 90”x108”: $243.00, King 110”x108”: $297.00)

-Batting prices:

·         $11 a yard for batting (specialty batting available upon request)

-Binding Attachment:

·         $15 +

·         Machine Binding, $0.20 per perimeter inch (BABY: ~$36.00 THROW: ~$54.00 TWIN: ~$64.00 QUEEN: ~$79.00 KING: ~ $87.00)

-Ship to Client:

·         $20 ish

 

Total adding: Fabrics + quilt top labor + E2E quilting + batting + binding finish + shipping

 

Average Example Prices: 

Baby: $300+

Throw: $450+

Twin: $575+

Full: $650+

Queen: $700+

King: $1,000+
